Vicenza jewelry crafts shows are part of the Vicenza National Trade Fair. The event was started in 1948 when the Commune, the Tourist Board, and the Provincial Administration created the articles of incorporation for the fair.

Most calendar years include about 20 events, most of which are organized directly by the Vicenza Trade Fair. The remaining events are arranged by external organizations.

The events are usually divided into three categories: innovation shows, gold shows, and public shows. The public show portion is what includes the Vicenza jewelry show and related events.

Only members of the trade may attend the gold and innovation events, but the rest are open to the public. Categories of featured merchandise include platinum jewelry, wrist and pocket watches, fine gold jewelry, and much more.
